WATCH DOGS
The WATCH D.O.G.S. program is operated by Huggins Elementary and is a one-of-a-kind school-based, father involvement program of the National Center for Fathering. It has two primary goals:
Who are Watch DOGS? Watch DOGS are fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and other father-figures who volunteer for at least one day each year at an official WATCH DOGS school. During the day, Watch DOGS may play at recess, eat lunch with students, watch the school entrances and hallways, assist with traffic flow, attend your child’s specials, run errands for the front office, change out the marquee and any other assigned activities where they actively engage with not only their own student(s), but other students as well. |
